So, this post will NOT have any pics because I haven't uploaded them yet, but hopefully they will be here tomorrow:) I have to start out by saying that I have the GREATEST friends in the whole wide world. The day we found out that we were having a girl, my neighbor Allison Matthews and her daughter Olivia gave us about 30 bows and headbands for Amika:) I was so happy, I seriously cannot wait to accessorize with Amika! So that made me super happy:) Then my neighbor Megan Caldwell came over and gave us a bunch of amazing chocolate chip cookies to congratulate us. Well, today our friends the Pedersens gave us such a cute black/white/pink Onesie, Sleeper, and Bib and also the cutest white headband with some pink bows in it. Gosh we are already so spoiled, and we haven't even had her yet! Everyone is so excited to meet little Amika Naomi. We love her so much already.
So, anyways, today is Saturday and we had such a fun day. we were home for about 1.5 hours the whole day. It started out by getting ready and talking to friends and family on the phone and then going to this new kids place that just opened called Xystus Kidsland. It was 850 yen for Taelin and 200 yen for Dalin & I and we could stay for 2 hours. They gave Taelin some socks to wear, and he was so excited about his socks because they had soccer balls on them. Well this place is so awesome and so big. It has a put put golf area, coloring station, climbing wall, and tons of things for the kids to climb through and around. It has slides that go down into a bunch of balls, and has trampolines with balls on it as well. There are teter-tauters, a play house, a baby room, and the best....A RELAXATION ROOM (where the parents can go and sit in massage chairs while they watch their kids on the tv screen). Seriously this place was so much fun we all had the time of our life. Taelin enjoyed jumping on the tramp with the balls and going down the slides and put put golf the most. We also could order us some food, and so we had our lunch there. We came home and Taelin was ready for nap, so we turned on Pete's Dragon and he was out in about 10 min. He took a 1 hour nap and then it was off to go swimming with the Pedersens at Kadena. This pool was so much fun. Taelin always has so much fun with Jaxen and we love hanging out with Erica and Chris. They are such great friends. Taelin went down the slide all by himself and I felt bad that we put him down it because he slide onto his stomach and when he slide he must have hit his head pretty hard on the slide because he had a big bump on his head with some blood. We felt really bad about that. After he hit his head he was pretty much done with swimming, and wanted to be held by mommy with his towel around him. He then forgot about his hurt head and went and played with Jaxen and Chris in the splash fountains. Taelin didn't really like getting that wet, so he was mostly just hanging out outside of the fountains and walking around. Jaxen absolutely loved it and would run and run through the fountains. We were at the pool for about 2 hours and then headed home to change and go to dinner. Dalin & Taelin wanted to take me on date to Chilies! How nice of them! It was so busy, and I was so glad that we called ahead to make a reservation. I ordered some steak, and Dalin of course got the RIBS and some Salmon. Taelin got some chicken nuggets and we all shared some chips and dip. Taelin was so good during dinner too. He LOVED this one waitress that he was TOTALLY flirting with her. Whenever she walked by he got so giddy and was so happy when she was serving the table by us. When she went away he wasn't very happy, so I told him that if he ate his food then she would come back...and that made him very happy:) (good way to make him eat his food) we asked him if he was flirting with her and he said, "YA....MORE." He is so much like his father it scares me! haha Dalin & Taelin treated me to my most favorite chocolate fudge molten cake at the end too! What a great date! Seriously i LOVE my 2 boys! We were so stuffed after dinner, that we came home and Dalin gave Taelin a bath and put on Petes Dragon while I went to a girls night for about 30 min and then came home and watched the movie with them. Taelin & Dalin are now asleep and I am about to fall asleep. Today was so much fun. I love spending time with my family. Dalin starts a really big exercise on Monday till the end of the month where he will be working 15 hour shifts....so we were so happy to be able to spend so much time with him before he starts this crazy exercise.
