Taelins new big boy bike

Taelin got a BIG BOY BIKE for only $10 off of Okinawa Yard Sales! It was a Thomas the Train Bicycle, and he loves it.  He has a hard time pushing his feet forward, so most of the time I just push him on it...he will get the hang of it someday...but he likes to go on rides on his new bike...or just push it around the house! I love good deals!

Taelin's 2nd Birthday Party

Taelin's birthday party was so much fun!!! Taelin was napping still when his friends started arriving around 3:00 pm, so I went to wake him up.  I said, "Taelin wake up, it's time for your birthday party." He woke up and looked at me and smiled and got right up.  He was so happy to go to his birthday party and to wear his Batman Shirt! He was still a little bit tired, so it took him a little bit of time to warm up to the party.  Here are some shots that dalin took of him.

Taelin didn't want to take that Batman shirt off the rest of the day.  He even wanted to sleep with it! So glad that we got the shirt just in time for his birthday:)
Here is a picture of his neighbor Olivia.  She looks so adorable in this pic!
I love our family pic in Batman Shirts!!
And i especially love this pic!!!!! This is so our family!! I love that Taelin is smiling while Dalin is choking him.  Haha

This is where the party was at! So glad we had the canopy, because the heat was bad!
Here is the spread of our awesome food we served:) so good!

We had some awesome food to eat, a bunch of toys out for the little kids, and 2 pools for them to play in.  It was seriously so much fun! Here are some more pics of his party!

Taelin came riding out of the house on his new motorcycle and everyone went crazy! They were all like Taelin looks so good on that, and he is riding it so well.  Taelin was very proud of himself too~

here he is turning the bike...he is so good at the turns...i thought this bike would take time for him to learn how to ride it...it took a whole 2 sec to teach him how to ride it!
Before we did the cake, Taelin wanted to show off his muscles and hang from this bar! He would hang for like 3-5 sec all by himself.  It was pretty impressive!

Birthday Cake!

Singing happy birthday

Blowing out the candle.....Taelin looks like me when I was younger trying to blow out candles! haha

Taelin's 2nd Birthday

Taelin's birthday was so much fun.  He turned 2 on Friday the 22nd.  Dalin had mcmap training in the morning from 5-7 and then got to come home for 1 hour to shower and get ready so he could go to work.  I made Taelin some mickey mouse pancakes for breakfast, and then we opened a couple of Taelin's birthday presents.  Then Dalin had to leave to go to work.  Taelin had a lot of fun running, pushing his pop pop, or riding his bike through his balloons.  Here are some pics of the morning:)

The front room! All of his BATMAN balloons and the BATMAN happy birthday sign that I made:) My friend Amber has a cricut machine, and she was so kind to let me use it for the letters:) Dalin made the first bat, and then I cut out the rest of them!:) Allison helped me string it together and hang it up!! I always want to make Happy Birthday Signs now! It was so much fun and it turned out so good!!!

His birthday presents from mom, dad, g&g bradshaw, & g&p Nelson:)

It was hard making the rest of the cake when Taelin was awake from his nap because all he wanted to do was eat it, but his party wasn't until the next day....so he just had to wait.  Taelin only took a 1 hour nap, and was surprisingly a lot of fun and not grumpy...i think he knew it was his birthday and he wanted to spend every moment awake:) He did whine for stupid stuff, and it was like he knew that he could do whatever he wanted because it was his birthday!
At 445 pm we walked over to Phelps house to go baby sit Adia.  She is a cute little 5 year old in our branch and Taelin & her have a lot of fun together. Her parents went to go see Harry Potter, so Taelin & I went on over there to play:) Dalin arrived around 530 and we had so much fun. We ran around the house, played hide & go seek, made a band, and played on her mat where they did fun tricks and jumped off of the couch onto it.  We then got in our swimming suits and headed over to the Courtney pool for our branch activity.  We swam from 745-900.  It was so much fun.  We really love our branch over here.  Dalin had a great time showing off his cool tricks on the diving board...the kids all LOVED it.  Taelin would clap and scream every time Dalin would do a trick.  It was so adorable! He is so proud of his daddy! Dalin tried to teach some people how to do some tricks off of the diving board, he really enjoyed that.  They did a who can make the biggest splash off of the diving board and Dalin won by A LOT! He also did a relay race with some of the people in our branch doing laps and his team lost by just a hair.  Taelin & I had a lot of fun watching Daddy and also splashing in the pool.  Taelin jumped off of the diving board 1 time to Dalin, which is so cute.  I swam a couple of laps, and I felt really good.  I am going to start going to the pool 2 times a week to do water aerobics:) We had a really good time.  When we were driving home we heard the Japanese practicing on their drums and dancing, so we pulled over to the side of the road and watched for a little bit.  It was so cool.  We came home and were all so tired and went right to bed! What a fun fun birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAELIN JACOB NELSON! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND ARE SO HAPPY THAT YOU ARE OUR SON.  YOU MAKE US SO HAPPY!!!!
