4th of july weekend day 1

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend.  I am going to have to do a post day by day because we did so many fun things:)
It all started Friday morning. Taelin & I got ready and went to Erica's house to go and play and get ready to meet the country singer Jessie James at the BX.  We were first in line! It was awesome!

That night was Taelin's last day of swimming lessons.  They let them have a free for all, and played a fun water balloon game, handed out their certificate, and then ate some good food.  We had a great time.  Here are some pics and videos of our last swim lesson.

Here is a video of Taelin jumping into the pool off of the low dive.  He saw Dalin jump off, and immideietly he looked at me and said "me, me, me". So I asked him if he wanted to jump off of the low dive and he said, "YA!" Taelin has no fear....just like his father! The first jump was a lot better than this one because he actually jumped...this one I helped him jump....but way to go Taelin!!!! We are so proud of you!

Here is a video of Taelin kicking his legs on his back...usually he ALWAYS screams and wants to be turned around, but this time he did so awesome, and kicked his legs the whole way without wining about it:) What a good little swimmer we have:)

After his party we hurried home and got ready to go to the Amerifest on Kadena.  We met the Pedersen's there and had a great time.  There was music, little rides for the kids, and we got to go inside some way cool Air force Planes.  We totally lucked out because as we were going into the kid area for Taelin to go ride some rides, a lady was just leaving and gave us her kids wrist band, so we didn't have the pay the $5:) So kind! Taelin wanted to ride the swings and LOVED it!!! That's the only ride we had time for because then they closed the park down...glad we didn't have to pay:) Jessie James performed and that was really cool.  Erica even got to sing with her on stage....we missed it because we had just left to go home:( But it was a way fun night. Taelin had fun leading the music and clapping his hands.
