First week in Japan

 Taelin of course wanted to help clean the floors:)
Monday: We woke up at 5:00 am looking for Daddy's military ID
Had breakfast at 630
Watched Little Einstines and played
Took a bath
Napped from 8-930
Went outside...and it was raining, but was SO HUMID!
Walked to the BX and bought mom some clothes and both of us flip flops- met the Pedersens.
Taelin loved running home to our hotel
He is starting to throw tantrums and will get upset and then sit on his bum and whine
Napped from 130-500
So excited when Daddy came home
Ate dinner
Went on a walk to the BX with Dad
Had FHE on baptism
Played and jumped with Daddy
Read scriptures and book
Bed from 830-330

 Taelin was totally off schedule from the plane ride and everything, so he would wake up at 430 when Dalin did, and he of course wanted to look just like daddy:)
Tuesday: Taelin woke up at 330 and "talked" till 430
at breakfast and watched Little Einstines
Dad went to work at 500
Slept from 530-745
took a bath
Did laundry
Went on a 15 min walk to the library and read books.  On our walk to the library Taelin liked to stop and watch the birds or chase after the birds.  He met a friend in the library and played with her. 
Taelin had diarrhea later:(
Erika and Jaxen picked us up to go on a drive to get out of our hotel room, she showed us where Daddy works and just around base.  We got some ice cream and Taelin of course LOVED to run away from me...he loved to run away into the Bathroom so he could scream and hear his echo...it was quite funny.  Taelin cried the whole way home because he was tired. Slept from 2-8, woke up just to eat some dinner, fell asleep until 430 am.  Dalin and I watched Tangled and Couples Retreat

 Taelin was so SUPER exited when he saw a swing set, so Daddy was so kind to take him swinging. 
Wednesday: LONGEST DAY EVER! 730-4 We were out doing things!! Today was our new comers brief and is it was so long and so boring!!!! I took my driving test and PASSED:) Taelin only napped 30 min all day!! He was so exhausted! Liked playing with the other kids at the brief.  He loves to give kids hugs, but sometimes hugs them to hard that he pushes them onto the ground.  Taelin fell asleep in the car from 400-545.  Sgt Chris Petersen picked us up for dinner at there place and we had soup, bread, salad & brownies.  It was delicious! Taelin loved playing with his friend Jaxen.  We played Pictionary Man, and THE GIRLS WON:) We looked at pics and talked till 1000 pm. LONG LONG DAY!!! WE all came home and went straight to bed!

Thursday: Taelin woke up at 430 am and ate breakfast with daddy and then said bye and read some books.  Took a bath and played inside.  Napped at 730.  TAELIN SAID DUCK!

 Erika took us to the most amazing place ever..YOGURT LAND! The best yogurt and then you get to put toppings on it...our favorite is Taro, it's like sweet potato. I love that Jaxen looks pissed in this picture!

 Taelin learned how to say HI, our next door neighbor was mowing his lawn, and we all know how much Taelin likes to watch people mow the lawn....so he watched him from our bedroom window waving and saying hi. soooo adorable!

This was down in American Village....I love that Taelin is leading the music and Jaxen is bobbin his head!! These people were amazing!

Japanese people go CRAZY over cute kids!!!! This was so funny!!!!! It was like they were 12, and the two babes were 12!!!! It gave us a good laugh!

We left to go to the airport at 400 am, only 4 hours of sleep....I guess I was ready for a LONG LONG day!!

Family was so nice to come and say goodbye to us 1 last time....at 430 in the freaking morning!! LOVE YOU GUYS!

Taelin & I READY for take off! Taelin slept the whole way from Boise to San Fransisco:)

Before we took off he LOVED looking out the window! So happy that he got his own seat:)

When we got to the airport in San Fransisco we were STARVING! SO we got some breakfast.  This airport was HUGE, and didn't have any golf carts or push things to put my luggage on...so it SUCKED!! Especially because we had a 5 hour lay over! There was one point where I wanted to cry because Taelin wasn't listening, and was running away, and I had to carry 2 carry on's, a laptop bag, and his diaper bag...it was rough!!! Im glad we made it safely though! And I'm glad they had some fun things for Taelin to play with...or we just made up our own games:)

And play in this little toy...there was a little kid section, which was nice.....it was kind of like a discovery center....BUT it didn't have a gate around it or anything so Taelin lasted about 20 min and then would just run away......so we left that place pretty quick and just went where the international flight was, cuz there was hardly ANYBODY there, so he could run around and do whatever the heck he wanted and not get lost either:) 

Taelin LOVED to look out this window and see the cars go underneath a tunnel and then come back out, loved to watch the planes go off:)

He also liked to play with his cars on this:) I had lots of toys to keep him entertained. He would flirt with the people coming past him, or would hid himself and act shy.  We did have a lot of fun playing with an Easter Egg in the hallway, he would kick it or throw it down the hall....that was a killer game!!!!!!! It was also really fun when other people would kick it back to him...HE LOVED that!

Wahoo we are on plane #2:) this flight was 11 hours~~!! TALK ABOUT LONG!! Taelin liked to play with his seat belt and OF COURSE have it on BEFORE the plane took off...once the plane took off he was ready to take that seat belt off and wouldn't stop screaming until I did...so he sat with me and then fell asleep for 5 hours!!! :) So nice of him!!!

This is how happy he was to be on an 11 hour airplane ride:)  The lights were OFF the whole time as well, which was nice because everyone just wanted to sleep.  it really wasn't that bad, he slept for 6 hours of the plane ride...which was so nice!! There was a little 4 year old boy sitting behind us that he liked to play with, and the Japanese man sitting next to us was super helpful when I needed things and Taelin liked to play BOO with him.  They served us 2 meals on the plane, which was really good:) When we got to the Tokyo airport it was CRAZY....the man offered to help me, which was so nice because I don't think I could have done it by myself.  We had to walk A LONG way, and then we finally got to Customs, and they STAMPED our PASSPORTS:) wahoo! so cool!!!!! Then we got our luggage and headed onto plane #3:) Tokyo to Naha:)

We had about a 2 hour layover in Tokyo, and of course Taelin loved to run around! This one was nice because there were just 8 gates and all in 1 big row, so he could run run run as much as he wanted and he wouldn't get lost:) it rocked!!

This plane ride WAS THE WORSE PLANE RIDE!! Taelin slept the whole way, which was nice, because it was a 3 hour plane ride. I however only slept for 1 hour.....and the seats were SO uncomfortable!!! The lights were on the WHOLE time, which i hated because it was pitch black outside....it just was not a good flight and I was ready to be done!!!!! We FINALLY arrived in Naha, Japan at 845 pm Sunday night.  LONG DAY (S).  We left Saturday morning, and arrived Sunday night...but with the time difference it's just crazy.  We got our luggage and FINALLY got to see DADDY!! Boy were Taelin & I so happy to see him!!!!!!!!!!

Taelin's Post

Today was my last day in Boise and I had a lot of fun.  I spent the night at Grammy and Papa Nelson's last night and woke up ready to play.  I got to go visit Grammy's work, and they gave me an orange.  I got to play with Zach and Luke Hall.  They have lots of fun toys to play with.  I got to go to the park with Grammy and Papa and climb and go down slides. My mom came to pick me up and I was so happy to see her. I love my mommy very much.  I fell asleep in the car because I played so much and didn't nap.  Mom says I slept for about 2 hours until I woke up.  Grandma and Grandpa Bradshaw had already eaten dinner. So I woke up and ate dinner with mommy and Aunt Net.  It was pizza and yogurt and grapes.  Grandpa took me for a ride in the wheelbarrow outside and then Grandma and Aunt Net came outside and pushed me on the swings. I love the swings and hope that I get to swing in Japan everyday.  I was cold outside so we all came inside and played downstairs.  I liked to play with the play kitty cat and baby and hide them in a house.  I played pool and held a baby doll and put her to sleep.  Mom gave me a bath and soap got in my eyes and it burned! I played with the doll and bear more and then found some bouncy balls to play with.  Grandma and Aunt Net played with me more downstairs and we watched Little Einsteins while mommy talked to daddy on the computer.  I just fell asleep and it is 11:30 pm.  Mom tells me that when I wake up I get to go on an airplane to go see Daddy.  I cannot wait to wrestle him and give him hugs.  I miss my daddy.  I love all my family and am going to miss everyone in Boise so much.  I love you all!

Saturday April 2, 2011 was a GREAT day!! We woke up and the weather was GREAT, so Grandpa decided to mow the lawn before conference started....BOY WAS TAELIN EXCITED! Taelin loves the lawn mower, so I was so excited that he would get to mow the lawn 1 last time before we left.  Taelin liked to follow Grandpa around the yard, ride on his shoulders, and put the grass into a big garbage bag.  Well, Boise weather ROCKS, (haha) and it started to get SO WINDY and RAIN...so Taelin had to come inside and watch....he was still happy seeing the lawn mower:) Here are some pics of him helping grandpa.

Grandpa finished the lawn just in time to watch the first session of conference.  I love seeing the prophet and apostles and listening to their talks.  It is so uplifting and strengthens my testimony a lot.  Taelin had fun playing and reading a book with Grandpa "The Day Teddy Beddy Bear Got Lost".  Taelin loved it, and would only let Grandpa read the book to him.  It was adorable!

During the 2 hour break between sessions of conference Annette and I sewed ANOTHER jean baby quilt for my friend Suzanne Bird's baby.  Taelin wanted to help me when he woke up from his nap:)

That night Talein & I went to my friend Cachet's Baby shower.  It was so much fun being with so many of my girlfriends and catching up with all of them.  Taelin had a lot of fun playing pool with this cute little boy.  I'm glad there was something to keep him entertained:)

Taelin LOVED that the balls ALL came to this big hole at the end of the pool table, the little boy was helping him:) When we came home to my parents pool table Taelin was very sad that all the balls didn't come to a big hole for him to play with:( haha it was funny~

Sunday morning April 3rd, 2011 we went over to the Nelson's house to watch the afternoon session of conference with them and have dinner with them.  Taelin's most favorite thing to do with Grammy is feed the birds.  He looks forward to feeding the birds every Friday with her. He loves it!

When I came home Sunday night my Dad & Annette were finishing the Baby Jean Quilt.  My dad had to help us because we doubled the batting, and we couldn't pull the needle through, so he used his tool to pull it through!!! how funny!

When I checked on Taelin before I went to bed, this is how he was sleeping.  This is how Taelin usually ALWAYS sleeps!!! Bum in the air, feet crossed, and hands under his tummy.  It looks SO uncomfortable!! But he LOVES it!!
