friday night Taelin & mommy

Taelin & I got to spend Friday night the 12th of Aug together.  Dalin went out on a dudes night to see Planet of the Apes, while Taelin & I got to hang out!!! This is what we did!

Puzzles

went for a ride on his "skateboard" (it's a fingerboard, but he likes to ride it with his foot and do tricks)

Below is a video of Olivia and Taelin dancing to the drums that they heard! I love that Taelin was on beat with it all! He LOVES the drums! And wanted to find them so bad!

After bath time we put on THE GAME PLAN, and around 815pm we heard the drummers right outside our window...Taelin was so excited.  So we stopped the movie and went and listened to them on our back porch.  Dalins movie was over and was coming home to get something, which worked out PERFECTLY, so he could drive us to watch the drummers.  They are called THE OBAN and they put on a 15 min show each night for a week around Okinawa, and tonight was the first night they were putting it on, RIGHT BEHIND WHERE WE LIVED! It is where they call out to their ancestors and send the spirits to the ocean.  It is a very religious thing that they do.  And we LOVE it.  So Dalin took us down there and we took some pictures and waited for them to start.

Taelin was FREAKED out by this man! He kept saying owie owie, and WOULD NOT look at him! He was shaking he was so scared of him!! Silly little boy!

Love the Japanese women over here! So nice and so pretty! Taelin likes to act shy around them, that's why he is covering his eyes! haha And of course...got to do the PEACE sign! haha
