2011 Christmas Card

Dear family & friends,
This year has been 1 crazy year! So much has happened and we have been on the greatest adventure of our life.  The year started out with all of us living in Boise for a couple of months with family before our great long adventure would begin in Okinawa Japan.  Jennie continued to work at Total System Services part time and Dalin got to stay home and be with Taelin and got everything ready for us to leave.  We had TMO come and pick up all of our belongings that we would be taking overseas (lets just say that Taelin was super sad that day seeing all of his toys packed up).  Then we had all of our stuff that we weren’t taking overseas put in government storage.  Dalin left in March and arrived about a week before the Tsunami hit in mainland Japan.  He picked up rank as soon as he got to island as a LCpl.  He worked very hard to get Taelin & I over to Japan and luckily it only took him 1 month.  We arrived on island and were in our home a week later with all of our belongings.  We lived at the beach or the pool for most of the time we have been here.  It started to get colder in October and we haven’t been since.  Taelin did swimming lessons this summer and did great. We have become best friends with the Internet and order so many things online because they don’t have a lot of things here.  If you see something that you want, you better pick it up RIGHT THEN, or you probably will never see it again. We have great neighbors and we absolutely love our branch.  Taelin now loves nursery and Dalin & Jennie are serving in the scouts as wolf leaders.
Here are our biggest events of the year:
DALIN: Won the Meritorious Board and picked up rank.  He just graduated CPLS course and is now a CPL.
JENNIE: Bring on baby #2.  She is due Jan 5th, 2012 but is hoping she will come any day.  She also is learning how to sew and made Amika some burp clothes and a baby blanket.
TAELIN: He is POTTY TRAINED and he knows how to dress and un-dress himself.  And of course is learning new words everyday.  His most favorite things right now are: Puppies, horses, choo choo trains, swords, and anything that has to do with a ball.
We have had a great year and excited to see what the New Year will bring us.  We love and miss you all so much….come visitJ
And a HAPPY NEW YEARMERRY CHRISTMAS
