fun family home evening

Monday the 2nd we had a really fun FHE.  This month's article of Faith is #5, so we learned about Prophets.  For our game we went and saw all the "fish" hung above this river.  The Japanese do a huge festival the first week of May and have a children s day as well.  Hanging the fish up is like saying a prayer for their children to be healthy and have a good life.  Taelin loved it so much he was so happy every time we would drive by the fish!!

he heard some dogs, and so he walked towards them, and then started barking....this is his face when he barks!:) he is so cute!

these are EVERYWHERE! they are sheshe dogs...they help keep the bad spirits away from the home.
