The Swear In

June 7th, 2010 was a very big day in the Nelson household. It was the day that Dalin was swearing in to become a Marine and leave for boot camp. He was supported by family and Chuck; Thank you for coming, that meant a lot to him. He swore in, and after that we got to hang out for a little while in the federal building (not a lot to do there, but it was nice talking and hanging out for a little bit before we had to say our goodbyes). Taelin had fun playing in the hall and climbing up some stuff. Dalin went and got his orders and all of that fun stuff, while Taelin and I just waited for him to come back. When he came back we said our goodbyes (which was hard) and then left. Good luck Dalin! We will see you in 13 more weeks! You are going to be an amazing marine. You are in our thoughts and prayers! We love you and miss you!
