YAY for the BOYLES

SO HAPPY!!!
Our friends Rachel and Layne just found out that they are having a baby girl! CONGRATS guys!
Now to plan Taelin and Nora's wedding:)

Sand

Mel has this cool little sand pile on the side of her house that the boys LOVE to play in. This was Taelin's FIRST time in the sand........

We filled the whole dump truck full of sand, Taelin was LOVING this!

Finger painting

Last Monday the 19th for our Family Home Evening Game we decided to do Finger Painting. I was looking forward to this so bad, cuz I wanted Taelin to try it so bad. Of course, Taelin fell asleep about 20 min before we started the activity....BUT luckily woke up before we had cleaned up and put it away. Jaden and Kyler LOVED it and totally went to town. Jaden would write his name in the paint and then erase it, and then draw a picture and then erase it. Kyler liked to mix the colors all around his paper. Taelin I think really liked it too. He loves to get messy, so when mommy lets him he is one happy boy (what boy doesn't like to be messy?) We decided to draw a pretty picture to send to Dalin. We did his hand prints, (but on one of his hands i didn't press down his pinkie, so we joked that Macie had bit it off), and just mixed the colors. It was a great FHE activity.

Such a Little Helper

Taelin is seriously like the best helper! He proved yesterday that he can help me out with anything...what a good boy:) He helped me with the laundry....pulling the clothes out of the laundry basket and putting them on the couch for me to fold....he helped me get the laundry out of the dryer too. Later I had to run 5 errands. We would be gone for quite sometime, but I knew that Taelin would be a good helper. Macie came in the car too, cuz it was storming outside and I didn't want her to be in the garage. Taelin was laughing so hard when Macie would eat food out of his hand. It was so funny. We had to go get a shot for Macie, then go to Verizon Wireless, the post office, wal mart, and allied graphics. Taelin helped me everywhere I went and only cried for a little. I was so proud of him. When we came home Mel was making this AMAZING surprise dinner that smelled so good. It was Chicken Cour Don Blue (SP) with fresh GREEN BEANS from her garden (yes i eat green beans now:), and some corn. MEL IS SUCH A GREAT COOK! I love having such good meals every night. She is teaching me so much and is teaching me how to make things from scratch. It's so much fun.
I just love my baby boy! He is learning so much everyday. He is getting so much better at sitting still when I change his diaper too. I just have to sing a song to him and that makes him happy. Still learning this whole parent thing, AND I LOVE IT!

YAY for Taelin! You are growing up so fast, to fast for mom could you please slow it down a little bit:) Daddy is going to be so proud of you!

Taelin loves to push this around the room. He knows when to turn it too, or if he bonks into something he knows how to turn it and keep going. He is getting SO SMART!! sometimes way to smart for his mommy!

Jaden and Taelin

I love being around 2 of my nephews everyday. Jaden LOVES to help me with Taelin. If Taelin is crying he always asks me why he is crying, and tells me that if i feed him it will make him stop. He reminds Taelin how to say 'More' in sign language, and loves to help me feed him during dinner time and snack time. If I'm feeding Taelin the snacks and Jaden see's me, he comes over and says "can i feed it to him?" One morning he wanted to hold Taelin and watch TV.



Today (July 20, 2010) when Jaden came home from the store he came in shouting, "Taelin, Tealin, Taelin" and then when he saw us he got this huge smile on his face and said, "hi Taelin!" Taelin was so happy that Jaden was home. Jaden is such a nice older cousin to him. Mel always says that she wishes Jaden could play nice with Kyler like he does Taelin...but i guess brothers will be brothers and beat on each other every once in awhile....who knows.....
