Train Making and Taelin's 4 month appointment!

So last night Dec 6, 2009 we went over and did our annual train making with the Nelson family. It started out with Grandpa holding Taelin on his shoulders and Taelin PULLING his hair as hard as he could. Grandpa didn't like that so much

So we decided to start making the trains...Taelin really wanted to eat the egg

While i was stirring the frosting for 20 min Dalin was playing with Taelin

Taelin found these Oreos and of course grabbed it and...

wanted to taste it......

Ty and Heidi were working on their train too

Grandma was being so kind to hold Baby Taelin and put him asleep, He was so tired from all the excitement of Train Making:)

Today, Dec 8, 2009 Taelin had his 4 month check up and shots....he is doing so great and is right on track! Thiis is a great 4 month pic of him!

Here are his stats:

WEIGHT: 13.9 lbs (10-25%)

HEIGHT: 25.5 in (75-90%)

HEAD: 16.5 in (25-50%)

He is suppose to be able to roll over, notice his hands and feet, and grab things, and he is doing all of those SO GREAT! He is growing up so much! We love him so much. He is also sleeping through the night, which is so awesome! He goes to bed between 9:30-10:30 and wakes up just for 1 feeding at 6:00, then goes back to sleep until 9:00. We love that he is finally letting his parents get some rest too:)

We were at Dalin's parents house and they pulled out this huge penguin and TAELIN loved it! he just kept burrowing his face in the penguin! he kept trying to eat it. It was so hilarious

He LOVES pie! and let me tell ya, caramel apple pie was the winner!! It was so much fun to have so much family and friends come over to celebrate for his birthday!

So Taelin is 4 months old now. Time sure does fly! He is so much fun! Starting to roll over more and more and talkS A LOT! starting to sleep kind of through the night again, which i love:) developed his first cold of his life, which was no fun. We took him to the Doc and he weighed 12.14, my baby is growing up so fast! He just had A little cough and boogers everywhere...i felt really bad for him.

as for Mom and dad, Mom is working back at TSS and loving it cuz she has great baby sitters for Taelin and a great boss....and is cooking more:)

Macie is continuing to be a great dog and loves to give kisses to Taelin. She LOVES to play all day long and likes to take walks with Taelin and mom.

That's a quick up date on our life right now! Can't wait for Thanksgiving food!!

For some reason he loves to cover his face with blankets..he grabs them and drags them over his face. it's kinda of funny

This was so funny, Macie and Carter were BOTH begging for food!!!

Macie would grab it out of Carters hands or even mouth so she could have it!!

HIS NEW TRICK!! HE CAN ROLL OVER!!!! he's getting so big, i can't believe that he will be 4 months a week from today!! time sure goes by fast!

For some reason Taelin thinks it's really funny that when I pull out the video camera he stops what he's doing to just stare and smile at the camera....it's hard to get good videos of him because he HATES doing them for the camera!! in this video he was talking so much with Dalin, and then stopped when he saw the camera, but he loves this toy so much!
