Sac Trip

Friday May 14th we left Boise at 1:30 for Dalin's Mission, Sacramento, California. Taelin did so awesome and was a total trooper he slept a lot of the drive and when he was a wake he loved to watch the new DVD player and play with his toys.








This is the boring view that we got to see on our way...in OREGON~ hated driving only 60 mph!

Taelin had a big blow out on our trip, which was no fun. This is where we stopped to change his diaper.


We got to drive through Lake Tahoe and then into Pollock Pines.



We met with Karl Berky and hung out with him for awhile. We got to Lotus and stayed with a totally awesome family, The Lulla's. They were so nice they let us eat and stay at their place. Sacramento is soooo green and is COVERED in trees! this is what it looks like everywhere! i loved it! We even saw a road that was called BRADSHAW ROAD! So cool!


Saturday we started our day at 6:30 am! We went to the temple for the 8:30 session, but it is about a 45 min drive to get their. The Temple is AMAZING!!! The inside is so much bigger than it looks! After the temple we went back to the Lullas to get ready for the day and went to Camp Lotus to have some lunch. The American River was so pretty!






Then we visited families until 11pm. Sunday was another 6:30 morning, we had to be to North Sac which is an hour drive. Sabrina's Farewell was so good. She gave such a great talk and is going to be such a great missionary.



Afterwards we got to meet with the LaBrash's and Hancocks. We then got to go show Taelin the temple and he loved it. Its so green and has so many pretty flowers...and rattlesnakes.



we got to visit more families and again got done at 11 pm. One place Dalin took me is the GHETTO part of Sac. It was really sad, funny, and scary all at the same time. We saw a BUICK all pimped out...and this.....


People leave all of their crap all over the streets and the city has to come out and pick up all the trash with bulldozers. CRAZY!

Monday we got to sleep in until 9:30 thanks to Deanna and then we HAD to come home:(... Taelin again did amazing on the ride home. But instead of coming through lake Tahoe, this time we took the 80 home and got to see how BEAUTIFUL Donner Summit and Pass was.


We got home and WISH WE WERE STILL THERE!

when Taelin goes to Grandma Bradshaw's house he loves to look at the picture of himself. He knows just where to look too. He would try to climb up the chair to get closer to his picture! He is so funny.

Taelin LOVES playing with paper! Loves to rip it up and sometimes eat it (i don't let him eat it, but sometimes he's to quick for me). He gets so happy when he gets around lots of paper! :)


Today is May 12, 2010 and Taelin just started using this walking toy and got up and started pushing it and walking!) It was so much fun! He loved it too! Our little boy is growing up so fast! I"m sure he will be walking soon!

Like i've said before, Taelin loves to play tug-a-war with Macie. He has such a strong grip it's always so much fun to watch him play with her.

A good day!

So with 2 weeks left of school for Dalin, a month until he leaves for Boot camp, and me starting my new position at work, we are alive and well:) Dalin is so ready for school to be done and is still preparing himself to leave June 7th. He is working hard and doing a lot of studying. I now work 8-12 Mon-Fri and IT ROCKS! It is so nice to be done at noon aournd have the rest of the day to be with my baby and get things done around the house. Taelin is adjusting to the new schedule really nicely too. He is starting to get his 2 TOP teeth in right now, so he just wants to be cuddled and sleep. Last night he was in his crib screaming and Dalin went in to tell him goodnight and he said very loudly...MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!! it was so cute! this is the first time that he has really said MAMA! it made me want to cry! He is so sweet! I love our little boy. This week has been really great and I just can't wait for Friday. Layne Boyle is going to take a video of our family in the park and take a family pic of us and then that night we are going to take Layne and Rachel out to see IRON MAN 2!! I am getting so excited!:)
